Recent upgrades to the Beeline Hwy 87 and Hwy 260 have made the scenic drive quick and easy. No longer do Phoenicians have to battle with Interstate 17 traffic jams to get to the mountains.

From Phoenix: On Hwy 202 several miles past Hwy 101, take Country Club Hwy 87 exit, turn left. It's an hour to Payson. In Payson, go right on Hwy 260 for an hour to Overgaard.

 

RIM LAKES

The fishing lakes are just as you reach the Rim, about 30 miles past Payson & 20 miles before Overgaard.
